How many know why the 2nd ammendment is even there.
Our forefathers intended for US citizens to be able to protect themselves, this right had been denied many even at that time in Britain. It is my belief that the current adminstration is on the road to disassemble the constitution as we all know it… and when you think about it how much of the Constitution do you know. The subject of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights should have been introduced to our youngsters even in the first grade. I know it and its subject was the point of many a history class. The subject matter should have been pushed harder onto school children, brave men and women have given the ultimate sacrafice to make the Constitution what it is today…
Now, many of our children do not even know that it exist or its content. This will make is so easy for this administration to dis-assemble this document and its meaning. If you do not know what rights are provided to you in the Constitution, how will you or your children defend it. The very piece of paper that good people gave their lives for in the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War, to WW1 and WW2, Korea, and Vietnam, and our current conflicts in the Middle East will have been for NOTHING. The people of the USA will let this Obama administration throw this piece of paper in the paper shredder.
Socialism is knocking on our door, and most people that live here do not even know what it means. It is the first step in more government control of the people. Now, back to the 2nd, the main authoring of the 2nd is our right to bear arms. This will be next, this administration will not be happy until the 2nd is repealed…They want to be the ones that OUTLAW guns.
With the normal US citizen not being able to own weapons then we become more self reliant upon the government to protect ourselves. Me…for one, I will protect myself.
Then somewhere in all of that our hunting rights will be infringed. I firmly am of the belief this administration will do everything in their power to dissolve or water down certain parts of the Constitution. We need to educate our children on what the Constitution stands for, if they knew, and if most people knew they would not let it happen. The content in WHOLE needs to be taught to every American from the time they can read and write…the learning of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights should be put first before any other subjects. But, sorry to say It won’t. They majority of Americans are satisfied with having the Government at their aid.
For one, I do not want the Government in my life…no health care, no meddeling in the Rights afforded to each and every American. Personally, I do not care what other countries think of the USA, most everyone outside of the US wants our rights to be abolished, just because they are not afforded the same rights in the Country the reside in.
The fix…start educating our children about the contents of the Constitution, STOP the current adminstration in its tracks. Bring America back what it was intended to be “GREAT”
If socailized healthcare is passed, the the 2nd and other Ammenmends will be next, and it will just be a ongoing task. Then our kids, kids will just have to read about the “Rights” they once had in America in a history book, if they are allowed to read it.
America the USA is one of the GREATEST nations on Earth, it was made that way because of all of the Americans that gave the ultimate sacrifice and blood to preserve our Constutution and Bill of Rights since 1776…Americans need to learn about what they are doing and stand up to this Administration and just say NO.
Stand up as an American….and just say NO. Preserve our RIGHTS as they stand.
